BTS was formed by Andy Buchan in 1997 to provide consultancy services on pumping, dredging, industrial cleaning and decommissioning activities in the oil and gas industry.
The company expanded in to the rental equipment market and also has a recruitment division providing specialists and personnel in a wide range of disciplines.
BTS regularly advertise their services in industry specific publications but from time to time boost their marketing campaigns with a carefully targeted PR initiative. Andy Buchan has a good eye for a story and when the time is right will call on the services of Sure PR to get his message over.
Together we succeeded in raising the profile of BTS in key media and assisted the company’s growth plans. In May 2007, BTS was purchased by marine engineering and shipping group, James Fisher Offshore, in a £4.9 million deal.
